Football Services Competitions Officer Staff Update
We are delighted to confirm the appointment of a new Competitions Officer in our Football Services department.
The Devon County Football Association are delighted to welcome Samuel Sharpe as our new Football Services Officer for Competitions, joining our full time staff based at Coach Road, Newton Abbot (as of July 1st 2024).
Sam takes over from Paul Sharples who departed at the start of June, and will be leading on all our competitions, including the administration of all the Devon FA County Cups, through to the finals in the Spring, as well as being responsible for the affiliation process.
On joining the County FA Sam said: “As a huge fan of football, and grassroots football, it’s a really exciting opportunity to get stuck into. I was lucky enough to meet some of the many volunteers at the Devon Football Family Award last week.
“Having watched from the stands during the 2024 County Cup Finals period, I’m now looking forward to getting going and supporting the Devon Football Family.”
